Karpe (Chirag Rashmikant Patel and Magdi Omar Ytreeide Abdelmaguid) released Omar Sheriff in January 2022, immediately breaking the Norwegian all-time streaming record. The project explores themes of roots, belonging, family, and upbringing through a blend of traditions and languages — Norwegian and Arabic alongside Gujarati, Hindi, and English — often described as diaspora pop.

Our team was part of the early creative development of the Omar Sheriff universe, creating the initial moodboards and defining the characters’ visual identity and the overall stylistic direction.

We executed all styling and fashion throughout the film, album cover, and official press imagery. Through clothing, silhouettes, and visual composition, our work shaped the characters and visual atmosphere, translating the project’s themes of heritage, identity, and cultural intersection into a cohesive visual language.
