1313 SELAH blends contemporary fashion with Latinx street culture. Inspired by the subcultures and musical influences that shaped the founders’ upbringing, the project celebrates fearless self-expression and empowerment through clothing. The brand’s distinctive aesthetic combines exaggerated silhouettes with references to streetwear, classic tailoring, and ceremonial attire.

Our work focused on developing a clear and cohesive design framework that could communicate the brand consistently across different mediums. The process began with research into the brand’s cultural influences, including religion, club culture, music, and strong references to 1990s hip-hop.

The resulting collection consists of thirteen garments, including oversized denim pieces, T-shirts, double-breasted jackets, and coats. One standout piece is a black sweater featuring the phrase “no juegues con la muerte.” Through the project, the goal was to translate the brand’s identity into a visual language that reflects both cultural depth and contemporary fashion expression.
